Nick Headshot

Nick Robinson – Tournament Director and Sponsor Co-ordinator

Nick started his association with the tournament 14 years ago as a player in the U9 event. Nick went on to be runner up of the NSRT on 2 separate occasions before volunteering at the age of 13 to sell programmes. He then moved on to scoring the Epsom college events and then on to head scorer. Nick has now taken on a more responsibility and has become a Tournament Director with the remit to help expand the NSRT and gain new partners through sponsorships and mutually beneficial partnerships. Tracy Pearson – Tournament Organiser

What would we do without Tracy?  She has done everything from scoring, first aid and adjudicating on the tricky situations that sometimes occur. On top of that she generally keeps us all in check.  A well respected swimming coach, sports enthusiast and experienced teacher.  Put simply Tracy is a NSRT legend.

Mark Robinson – Tournament Organiser

Mark started his association with the tournament every year since Edenbrook (now acquired by Hitachi Consulting in April 2009) enjoyed a successful sponsorship of the event in 2002 when his eldest son played in the event.  Mark has agreed to continue to actively support the organisation of the event in a personal capacity. He brings a wealth of commercial experience to the tournament as well as being a keen supporter of mini rugby.

Stewart Ireland – Tournament Organiser

Stewart started his association with the tournament 14 years ago watching the eldest of his sons play in the U9 event. Stewart subsequently joined the organising team.  He coaches mini rugby and is a respected referee.  He often runs the U13 qualifying events and is an ever present at the finals.

Richard Hill MBE – Tournament Patron

Richard was the new Tournament Patron from 2011/12.  He is one of the true rugby great having played 71 times for England, 5 times for the British and Irish Lions and of course was a world cup winner too.  We are proud to have him involved with the event.

Roger Uttley OBE – Founding Patron

Roger has been involved with the tournament since the start. His support of youth sport generally has been unrelenting throughout his years at Harrow School. His outstanding personal achievements within the game of rugby (23 games for England with 5 as captain and 4 undefeated tests for the Lions), are an inspiration to all the youngsters involved in the tournament.
